When we study Scripture, we find that whenever God has chosen to move His
people forward in His purpose, He has first called a leader and equipped him or her to lead in the
advance of His Kingdom. It is no different today. God is still calling individuals into leadership for the
sake of the maturity of His Church and the advance of the gospel. The preparation of those leaders
is a crucial part of the work of God within the Church.
The School of Leadership was born out of a passion to see such leaders of the Church mature in their character, grow in their understanding of the Bible and be released into their callings. In particular, it is fueled by a passionate vision of gifted men and women, as described in Ephesians 4, effectively functioning in the Church according to the New Testament blueprint.
From both those who are emerging as Ephesians 4 ministries and from those who currently function in such a way, we hear an increasing cry for further training and development in how to function within one’s gifting as well as how to work in an apostolic team. This program is designed to help meet this need. In short, the School of Leadership exists to develop future leaders of the Church with the training necessary to fulfill the purpose of God in their day.
